What this PR does / why we need it:

"Bug" is not really accurate but I had to pick a kind and nothing else fit. Rather, this PR marks symbols intended to be re-exported in __init__.py files as public by redundantly aliasing them (an alternative to defining __all__). This prevents false positive lint errors from type checkers like pyright.

This package now properly marks exported symbols as public, eliminating "private access" errors from some static analysis tools (pyright/pylance).
