Pull Request 3470 added the ability to configure API spec generation to have deterministic order. From what I can tell, that change was made only on the 2.x branch. It would be nice to have that change ported to the 1.x branch for those that are on OpenAPI v2.

I would really love to see that fix backported to 1.x.
